Boy I have a nice long back catalog of games to play currently. Currently I’m playing Lost Planet 2 and Aliens Vs Predator on the PC. Both are games that excel at being decent without being spectacular (so far) but I’ll stick with them. Well, Lost Planet does have some rather cool boss fights if nothing else. I still think it needs to be played multi player, not single player as I am doing.

Alien Vs Predator
Might I add that the Aliens are one of the most annoying villains in the history of FPS to fight. They move like they have just had half a dozen cups of coffee and the game is very stingy with ammo which is a nasty combination already but when you add in the dark levels and it’s very hard to fight these buggers while leaving enough ammo for the possibility of another later attack. Certainly a tense game.

Damn Aliens
Then there is Red Dead Redemption which by all accounts is fantastic fun so perhaps that is next on my list. That’s to go with Alan Wake which I also got last week. For months I’ve had copies of both Dragons Age and Mass Effect 2 sitting on my desk. In particular Dragon Age is a game I waited about six years for (basically since mid way into first year uni) and once it arrived I never sat down and actually played it. At least it will have a fair bit more DLC available once I do go to play it.
ATM I’m keen to replay all the Zelda titles from Ocarina of Time onwards and for once actually finish Majora’s Mask as part of that. Don’t know whether to get a Game Cube version or just a virtual console release of it but. We’ll see. I can’t do that until I get my memory card for the Game Cube from my parents. Lastly there is the Game Boy titles in the series I’d also like to try for the first time. Might I make the bold suggestion that Twilight Princess is perhaps the best Zelda game ever too and should sit on the top of any top 10 list…well besides Baldur’s Gate 2 which IMHO is the greatest game ever.

Twilight Princess
All up thats a scary amount of games and I have Fable 3 and Star Craft 2 coming some point later on, not to mention Mario Galaxy 2 which by all accounts is brilliant also.
